I started coming to this teriyaki joint because I work a couple blocks away. I've gone here for lunch a handful of times now and the food has been tasty and reliable. It has become my go-to spot for a teriyaki lunch. It's family owned and the owners are super friendly. They seem to really care about giving the best food to their customers. It's your typical teriyaki shop seating layout. They have complimentary water and tea at the front too which is a plus for people trying to abstain from sugary drinks, like me. Great customer service. Not to mention that the food has plenty of sugar in it already ;).
They have so many options on their menu, an infusion of Japanese-Korean-Chinese comfort food favorites. However I've only gotten the Japanese inspired items. I've had the bento boxes, chicken Katsu, teriyaki/gyoza combos, and the Katsu & curry. All of which I would recommend!! Pretty big portions and fast service! I'll be a returning customer for as long as I work in the Kirkland/Redmond area! -

Rice is smushy and meat tastes strange. They burned my meat, and they were kind enough to replace it, and yet it still tastes bad. I had to throw away the food in garbage. I felt like beef I was eating already went bad. Not edible food, not recommended.

Outside looks like most other teriyaki in the area. I was surprised to see a line of people waiting to put in or pick up orders. The line moved quickly. The lady behind the counter was calm and collected even though she was taking orders in person and on the phone, putting orders into the kitchen and bagging meals to go. I had the chicken teriyaki which was tender and flavored well. The sauce was no heavily oiled as I have experienced at other teriyaki's. When I left with my order there was still a constant line with new people coming to replace the ones that had been served. Only drawback was the salad could have been cut a bit more as the big chucks I had in my two orders were not easily edible as is.

Great Teriyaki. Lots of competition around the area, this one is the best. Spicy chicken, #2 on the menu. Must have.

Got take out. The food was very good and they got my order out pretty quickly. Gyoza was crunchy on the outside and tender in the middle just the way I like it. Yakisoba was good also. I find it odd that some places give you rice with the noodles. I saved the rice and had it the next day. Win win.
